Cabbage works its VFX magic in the Fairy Garden.

Our partnership with top Hungarian production company MEGAFILM is based on a solid foundation of trust and proven reliability, built over many years through countless successful collaborations.

So, when they needed a post-production studio for their latest TV series, the Fairy Garden (Tündérkert), we were the natural choice. From the inception of this show, we took on management of the entire post-production workflow. Our dedicated on-set supervisors had a key role in assisting the production crew, meticulously planning all the scenes that needed visual effects. They also served as an additional set of eyes for the director and DOP during filming. Meanwhile, our diligent DI technician took charge of handling the rushes on a daily basis. This involved preparing the dailies and editorials, ensuring the footage was securely stored, and creating backups and archives to safeguard the valuable content.

Once the picture was locked, our exceptionally talented VFX team embarked on a remarkable journey, taking numerous scenes to the next level across the eight-episode series. Our skilled VFX crew harnessed a range of cutting edge software and platforms to unlock the full potential of a staggering 600 meticulously crafted VFX shots. We created majestic castles, extended diverse environments, orchestrated the construction and demolition of towers, removed or retouched garments, crew members, and equipment. We also put swords and knives into the hands of soldiers, added realistic blood effects, and these were just a few of the awe-inspiring tricks we had up our sleeves. As we close this chapter of our VFX and colour grading journey for the Fairy Garden series, we would like to thank MEGAFILM for once again trusting in us to bring their creative vision to life. It has been an honour to be part of this magical production, and we look forward to weaving more wonders together in the future.
