Ambience Seoul thought so, too, when they chose the location for boy band POW’s latest video. When it comes to music production in Hungary, Cabbage is always here to help. After weeks of careful planning the shoot was completed in just one day.

In the world of films and showbiz no two days are the same, and last-minute requests can really bring out the true value of a versatile, adaptable team with the local knowledge and expertise to make things happen quickly. When Hollywood royalty rolled into town a few months ago, we pulled out all the stops to make sure everything went smoothly.

Two projects we recently completed for Familia London are great examples of how we can take a music video to the next level by manipulating space in two very different ways: by extending a ‘physical’ space in one, and in the other by creating ‘worlds within worlds’. When truly remarkable productions chose Hungary as their filming location – one an Amazon Studios and Blumhouse Television collaboration, the other a Viaplay Studios production – we stepped up to provide a comprehensive package of VFX services, including 360 environmental photography, precise tracking point placements, VFX ball reference imagery, and ongoing consultation with international VFX studios, supervisors, and producers. Our amazing post-production crew is always ready to go the extra mile. Recently, they made an already visually stunning serial even more breath-taking. Besides handling crucial tasks such as dailies, archiving (LTOs), conforming, and colour correction with their usual panache, we also deployed an impressive array of visual effects, including set extensions, matte paintings, clean-ups, compositing, 3D scenes, and elements.

This time, our aim was to strive for something truly unique, with a guest list including everyone who is anyone on the Hungarian movie scene, colleagues and competitors alike, showcasing our inclusive approach and love for the industry.

An email from Italy in the afternoon was all it took for Cabbage to swing into action. Willem Dafoe was in town with just enough space in his busy schedule for a photoshoot. Could we help? Within 24 hours, we were welcoming the Numero Homme Berlin team who arrived in Budapest from Milan, Berlin and Paris—and everything went like clockwork from there. Mission accomplished!

They are filled with so much emotion and matching, well-composed scenes that make them worth watching and discovering every little detail in the shots. The mastermind behind the scenes is none other than the visionary director, Sashinski, who invited us to his new project.
